Pre-Orders

By placing a pre-order with Brightwater Clothing & Gear, you will have first priority from our shipment. Barring any manufacturing mishaps/shortages/acts of god, you are essentially guaranteed the item you pre-ordered. Before pre-ordering, please read the terms & conditions below:

    1. Please do not order if you are unable to wait for the item.
    2. Pre orders will be charged immediately at the time of purchase, not shipment. This ensures you have top priority in receiving the item before others.
    3. We cannot estimate or guarantee a specific ship date. Your item(s) will be shipped as soon as we receive stock. You will be notified the moment your items has shipped.
    4. If you combine in-stock and pre-ordered items, ALL items will be shipped at once when all pre-ordered items are available. To receive in-stock items sooner, create a separate purchase.

Shipping

Standard Shipping 2-5 business days USPS Priority Mail
Brightwater offers free shipping on all orders over $149+ and a $9* flat rate  shipping on orders $149 and below (excluding fragrances*, via USPS Priority Mail. Expect your package to arrive in 2-5 business days, based on where your package is being sent.

*Fragrances and liquids will be shipped ground at a rate of $20 at all times. The fragrance/liquid shipping rule will trump other regular shipping options if you order fragrance/liquids in addition to clothing and/or accessories. Questions? Next Day: USPS Priority Mail Express
For next day delivery, we offer $55 flat rate shipping. Please take into account next day arrival for next day air shipping is only guaranteed when ordered before 1pm central time on Monday - Thursday.

Curbside Pick-up:
Select this option if you live in town and prefer to pick your items up at the shop. Please be sure to include a contact number so we can coordinate with you when your order is ready to be picked up during operating business hours!

Important Shipping Info:

  • Orders that are placed between Monday-Friday will ship within 48 hours pending availability and payment verification. This excludes holidays.

  • Orders that are placed on Friday after 4:00pm CT, Saturday, or Sunday will ship the following Monday.

  • Packages are insured up to the point of delivery. Brightwater is not responsible for any missing or stolen packages after they have been delivered.

Shipping Suggestion: We strongly suggest that if you do not have a doorman that you request the signature required option or have the package shipped to your office.

International Shipping: At this time, Brightwater does not ship internationally. For inquiries, please email info@brightwaterclothing.com.

 

Online Return Policy

We hope everything we sent is exactly what you expected it to be. However, in the event you need a different size, color or style, or simply want to return the item for a credit, we are here to help.

  • Any online purchase may only be returned if you have emailed us (info@brightwaterclothing.com) for Return Authorization instructions.

  • In order to initiate a return, please email info@brightwaterclothing.com or call us at 952-474-0256 to get a Return Authorization. When initiating an RA, please include all items from your transaction that you would like to return or exchange. Please allow up to 72 hours for your return request to be received and approved.

  • Online and mail orders that are returned or exchanged must be received in-store within 14 days of post-marked date. We strongly recommend requesting an exchange as soon as possible in order to meet our 14 day policy.

  • Brightwater will not accept any online returns or exchanges after 14 days. 

  • Merchandise discounted below 40% off is non-refundable.

  • Merchandise must be returned in its original condition (unworn, unwashed, unaltered) with tags attached, and must be accompanied by the sales receipt. We reserve the right to deny a refund based on the condition or the tardiness of the returned merchandise.

To return an online purchase in store:

Brightwater offers the option to return (for store credit) or exchange your online purchase in our brick and mortar store (Excelsior, MN) within 7 days of the online purchase. Ensure items are unworn, in their original condition, with tags attached, and accompanied by the sales receipt. Brightwater has the right to deny a return based on the condition or tardiness of the returned merchandise.
