Spring has sprung at Brightwater!

New Amundsen Goods

Hi All!

How are you? It’s finally feeling like summer is here! Kids are mostly done with school, and It’s supposed to be in the 90’s next week. Sure signs that we are headed into the warm season! While I’ve been loving this weather, having windows thrown open and cool sleeping temps, a bit of that MN summer heat will feel good!

I wanted to remind you that the Excelsior Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce is hosting Art on the Lake this weekend! It runs Saturday and Sunday the 11th & 12th right here on Water Street. It’s alway so incredible to see the caliber and quality of the juried art. There will be over 120 artists exhibiting. It’s going to be terrific! Please be sure to plan a visit.

While you're in Excelsior, please swing by Brightwater. We have so many new things! We’ve received a large order of Amundsen Sports, from Norway, which is a perennial best-seller for summer. Stunning corduroy and waxed canvas shorts for men and women, cool linen shirts, and a great selections of tees — all with Amundsen’s Nordic styling! We couldn’t keep many styles in stock last summer, so swing by now, when we have the best selection. There’s also new shirts from Gitman Vintage and Alan Paine. We also received a big shipment of dresses from Hatley (of Canada) and sun-protective clothing from Coolibar (based right here in St. Louis Park). FYI, we’ll be doing a trunk show with Coolibar on the 23rd of June. Rhonda, from Coolibar, will be here with some fun additional items that I don’t stock. We’ll have some sips and snacks available too!

Lastly, Deb and I are going to head up to the cottage on Ely Lake the tail end of the weekend. It’s just for a few days, but will be a nice recharge. (I’d stay longer but I’m still short of help here at Brightwater, so if you’re looking for a part time opportunity to hang out and have fun at Brightwater, drop me a note!)

I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend! I hope to see you in Excelsior — it'll be a fun weekend here. As always be kind, act respectably of all, and take care.

Lots of love,
- Bill
