How are you? I hope you’re doing well. As I write, I’m looking at ferries criss-crossing the blue sparking water of the Hudson River. It’s chilly, but seeing open water and boats does make me hold hope that summer is on the way!
We are here in NYC for the Women’s Markets for Fall/Winter 2022. Lots to look at and lots of walking! We have been to multiple shows and showrooms. There’s a lot of great things I’ve seen and picked for Fall '22, if I have to say so myself!
This is always such an interesting time for a retailer. I’m having to split my brain as I’m working on selecting and ordering Fall '22 product, whilst the new spring product is arriving! As spring starts to roll into Brightwater, I’m remembering what I selected and why… I believe your going to like it!
On Brightwater’s women’s side there is new Ecru, Faherty, Anatomie, Parajumpers and more. It's inspiration that we’ll be shedding our parkas and cashmere for summer offerings very soon! The guy's side has new Faherty as well as Billy Reid, Parajumpers, Relwen, and many others. Are you ready to start thinking about shorts and short sleeves? I know I am.
I’m going to keep this short. It’s Monday the 28th and I’ve got a full day of appointments! I do have to admit that I love going to markets! There are a lot of products that just don’t fit at Brightwater, but it's a great feeling to find a new line that does. Panning for gold is a good analogy. I love it! So I’m going to dig through the markets and continue to find cool offerings.
