It’s officially mid-summer in Minnesota! Sweltering heat and humidity! We’ll take it, as it validates our taking Friday off, and heading to the cabin early. We snuck up to the cottage a week ago to host a family reunion, and spend some quiet down time. It was marvelous! My sis Kate is here from London for the month of July, so its always a fun to get up north and share time. From morning coffee pontoon rides, to evening sunset cruises and lots of float time in-between. The family reunion was terrific too. It’s called the Strand Family Reunion as my great grandfather was a Strand. By now most of us attending were no more related that you and I, but we get together and celebrate our Swedish Heritage. It's so much fun to catch up!
