January Greetings, Klondike Race Update, Market Season & Warm Weather

Hi All,Happy soggy January! I’m getting tired of fog and high 30°F temps. Damn it, this is January in Minnesota! It’s forecasted to get over 50°F next week! I guess I just need to focus on the positive. I haven’t had to shovel snow or dig out my snow boots. Yet anyway. Klondike Recap + Markets in Chicago

How are you? I hope all is good in your world! It’s been a busy few weeks for me. As I hope all of you know, this past weekend was the Klondike Dog Derby here is Excelsior. My favorite was Elena Freking. At 11 years old, this was Elena's first 8-dog class race. She did amazing! (It’s really no surprise as her dad and mom, Blake and Jennifer Freking, are icons in the sled dog racing world.) The whole event was spectacular! Those words echoed from the spectators, the mushers,...
